hollidays

after a long time working hard in garden and house, relaxing in the pool, sewing a bit and try to have fun with our kids , it is time to post my newest things i made (last weeks I was too lazy to sit ours and ours on the PC to try to came out with a new post). I'm at the beginning and there are soooooooo much things I have to learn and I want to learn and there is so little time for all- sometimes it's soo overwhelming...)
first: my very first bag/tute for a friend of mine and its so easy to made that I think I will made more of them.

next is a bag for cerimonial objekts (also for a friend)

she didn't know it yet and I hope that she will enjoy it.  oh, I'm allways in troubble when I finished a work (or whatever) and all doubts came out at once: will she like it? will it be the right thing/color/size/theme? is the quality of my stiches good enough? and all such things... I know that the Others would never ever critisize my works as I do... and all of them seams so exited about my sewing-works.... but when I compare my works with someone like Leah Day or Crazymomquilts or so I can see that I'm on the very beginning. and I know that I have to be very patient with me and also very gentil..... so I 'm Always very happy about somone who whrite some comments (good ones!!!!!). It makes me feel like a part of somthing bigger then my little room with my little sewing machine and my little time to sew and I'm also very glad to take part of this great comunity of woman (and man) they create such marvelous things with their hands....thanks.
next: finaly finished thae upper part of a -how to call it-'chair'maybe? and this work came out good.

so thats all for today. hope you will enjoy it!
have a good time....

  1. Hallo Claudia,
never doubt about your work. I love the two bags. Maybe you can give me the pattern of the first one? The second one is really beautiful designed and quilted!

  7. Your chair cover just glows! I have doubts myself when I'm giving gifts that I make, but friends see past the imperfections to the love that goes into the gift.
